Beef Liver Pate

Ingredients
8 ounces Beef liver (chopped)
1/4 cup Butter
1/2 cup Chopped onion
2 Garlic cloves (minced)
4 ounces Cream cheese (warmed)
1/4 cup Heavy cream
2 tablespoons Fresh sage (chopped)
2 Hard boiled eggs
Salt & pepper to taste

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onion & liver and saute until liver has cooked through and the onion has become tender. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant.
  2. Place the contents of the saucepan into a blender and puree. Add the cream cheese, heavy cream, sage, and hard boiled eggs and blend until smooth. Add salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Serve warm or cold with baguette slices or crackers.
