Spicy Ground Beef and Butternut Squash

Ingredients
2 tablespoons Avocado oil
1 Onion (diced)
1 Serrano pepper (minced)
4 Garlic cloves (minced)
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Cumin
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
1 pinch Freshly grated nutmeg
1 pound Ground beef
1 handfull Fresh sage (minced)
1 pound Peeled butternut squash cubes

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a saute pan over medium heat, then add the onion & Serrano pepper. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic, salt, paprika, cumin, black pepper, nutmeg, and ground beef. Mix well while it cooks.
  3. Once the beef has browned, add the butternut squash and stir it into the mix. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 10 minutes
  4. Remove the lid, mix in the fresh sage, then serve.
