Homemade Croutons

Serves: 4-6 cups
Vegetarian!

Ingredients
1 loaf Bread of your choice (cut into small cubes)
1/4 cup Olive oil
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon Garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Pepper
Additional dried herbs for extra seasoning such as:
Dried basil
Dried rosemary
Dried oregano
And/or dried sage

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place the bread cubes in a bowl and evenly apply the olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to them. Toss them gently to assure an even coating.
  3. Spread the bread cubes across the baking sheet. Bake them until they are golden, flipping them over halfway through the baking time to ensure even cooking.
  4. Remove them from the oven and allow them to cool before use. You can sprinkle them with additional dried herbs if you desire.
