Garden Corn Cakes

Serves: Makes 10-12 two inch cakes


Ingredients
4 ish Cups Pure corn flour
1 Cup White Corn Grits
2 Eggs
Pinch Tumeric
Pinch Dried pepper powder
Punch Salt
Cheddar of goat cheese
2 TBSP Coconut butter

Step by Step Instructions
  1. Mix together dry ingredients. ( corn flour, grits, salt , pepper powder, herbs etc)
  2. Mix in Milk, eggs, and cool water to consistency of cookie dough ( you can add shredded cheddar here)
  3. Spoon into hand and make 2-inch balls of bigger. Flatten and put into a hot skillet with melted coconut butter. Brown on both sides a few minutes each. Top with dollop of goat cheese . Enjoy with anything of by itself !
